Since childhood, I have nurtured a passion for art and illustration, which continues to serve as a constant source of inspiration. As a child, I spent hours captivated by beautifully illustrated children’s books, often contemplating that if there were any job in the world I wished to pursue, it would be this.

I pursued my degree in psychology while continuing to explore my creativity, a persistent theme throughout my life manifesting in many delightful ways! I dabbled in everything from designing boutique silk clothing to baking delicious bespoke cakes, all the while allowing my inner artist and illustrator to flourish. From studying 2D animation and experimenting with fun animated presentations, I began to explore illustrations suited for children’s books. From there, conceptualising, writing, and illustrating children’s books was a natural progression.

I enjoy delving into the potential of both traditional and digital mediums to bring my artistic vision to life. Whether layering textures and colours in physical form or crafting digital images with various software tools, I am perpetually inspired by the canvas of my life and the world around me. For me, creativity is not merely a hobby but a way of life that has shaped and enabled me to develop valuable skills and perspectives. Engaging with our creativity can enrich our lives and unlock new possibilities, and every creation can be enhanced with a touch of Meraki.
